Podcast Ideas & Topics 2022

A podcast is a great way to create content that educates and engages your target audience. It's especially great for those who are not fans of being on camera.

Often times, figuring out what to talk about can be the most daunting part of creating content.

With this in mind, we wanted to put together a list of a few podcast ideas & topics in 2022 to (hopefully) motivate you to finally pick up the mic and start recording!

Questions to Ask Yourself:

Before you jump into buying equipment and setting up your podcast channel, take some time to first consider the following 5 questions.

Having these answered will help you get more focused, and make your podcast a reality!

  1. Who are your potential listeners?

  2. How passionate are you about the topic?

  3. What makes your take on your topic unique?

  4. Does your podcast have the potential to be monetized?

  5. What can you do to help yourself commit to actually recording your podcast?

In 2021, the most popular podcast categories were:

  • Storytelling

  • Finance

  • Comedy

  • Motivation

In addition to marketing your website, your podcast can result in sponsors. These can pay you for reading an ad, or offer your listeners a special promotion.
