The Ventura County Foster Parent Association just got a great new site upgrade thanks to Border7 Studios!
VCFPA for short, is a non-profit organization thats mission is to unite foster parents, relative care providers, and resource families in their goal to provide care for at-risk youth, and provide support when appropriate to birth families in their efforts toward successful family reunification.
Take a look at the completed site below:
The new design features a large, full width header image to instantly grab attention of the the visitor, along with animations that further brings attention to the content the visitor is meant to see.
The homepage’s content sections are divided by broad blue full width sections that help space out content, and make the page feel welcoming.
A section of the homepage is devoted to showing snippets of the different recent blog posts written, which helps bring more attention to the blog. Near the bottom, another section that adds a lot to the homepage is the “upcoming events” and “Amazon Featured Wishlist” areas. Having a separate section on the directly on the homepage helps bring special emphasis to these two items.
The interior content pages of VCFPA all have a modern, open look to them. These help tie the website together in a central look and theme. When browsing the website, all pages come together and create a consistent experience throughout.
The Ventura County Foster Parent Association has been doing great work for over 32 years, and now with their new site they’re even more accessible than ever!
