For this client showcase, we’re highlighting a recent WIAD success story: Polished Putting, a unique business dedicated to enhancing the precision and enjoyment of the putting game.
The WIAD Journey
Polished Putting came to us with a clear vision: they wanted a modern, tiled layout for their homepage and a green color scheme that echoed the feel of a putting green. They also needed help refining and organizing their content in a way that clearly communicated their offering and spoke directly to their audience.
We kicked things off with our streamlined onboarding process, where the Polished Putting team provided us with branding preferences, inspiration, content, and imagery. With that in hand, we hit the ground running on build day.
Stylescape: Laying the Visual Groundwork
Every WIAD project begins with a stylescape, which is a visual roadmap that ensures we are aligned on the overall aesthetic before we start building the website.
For Polished Putting, the focus was on creating a clean, inviting feel that captured the energy of the sport. We selected rich green hues, bold modern fonts, and dynamic imagery to highlight the brand’s professional yet approachable personality. The tiled layout they envisioned was ideal for showcasing content in digestible, visually appealing sections.
Wireframes: Shaping the User Experience
Once the visual direction was approved, we created wireframes to guide the flow of content and interactions throughout the site.
We paid special attention to answering the five key questions visitors ask when they land on a website:
What is this?
Who is it for?
Why should I care?
Why should I trust this brand?
What should I do next?
By thoughtfully organizing the content and breaking it into clear sections, each with strong headlines, call-to-actions, and visuals. Our goal was to ensure the site would guide visitors naturally toward understanding the offer and taking the next step.
The End Result: A Clean, Strategic Wix Website for Polished Putting
By the end of the day, Polished Putting had a polished (pun intended!) website that reflects their brand and delivers a seamless user experience. The homepage features a custom tiled layout that’s both eye-catching and easy to navigate.
Their content is now organized to quickly communicate what they offer and who it's for, helping them connect with their ideal audience right away.
