Running a business as a mom isn’t about doing more or should-ing yourself, it’s about doing what actually works.

Between nap schedules, snack requests, and trying to drink your coffee before it gets cold, you don’t have time for complicated systems or marketing strategies that require a full-time team.
That’s why I’ve built my business around tools that are simple, efficient, and give me control, without burning me out, because been there done that, and no thank you!
These are the marketing tools I actually use (and recommend to my clients) as a busy mom who still wants to grow a real business.
Marketing Tools for Busy Moms
1. Your Website Platform (Your Home Base)
If everything else disappeared tomorrow, I'm talking social media, email lists, or trends, the truth is your website is the one thing you fully own.
That’s why this is always my #1.
Your website should:
Clearly explain what you do
Guide people toward taking action
Work for you 24/7 (even when you’re offline or with your kids)
Why it matters as a mom: You don’t have time to constantly show up online. Your website fills that gap by converting visitors into clients while you’re living your life.
My take: If your website isn’t converting, it’s not a traffic problem, it’s a clarity problem. Stop putting it off, and check out Wix for an easy website builder platform that will help you get online fast.
2. Email Marketing (Your Safety Net)
Social media is rented space. Email is yours.
An email list gives you a direct line to your audience without worrying about algorithms, trends, or whether your post gets seen.
There are many 3rd party platforms out there that you can use. MailChimp and Constant Contact are ones you've probably heard of, but don't let yourself get distracted by the platform itself.
Wix has built-in email marketing, so if you build your site on Wix, start there so you can get in the habit of sending out your emails. You can always migrate your list later if you need.
Why it matters as a mom: You can batch emails during nap time and stay connected without needing to post every day.
Simple strategy:
Send 1 email per week
Share something helpful, personal, or behind-the-scenes
Remind people how to work with you
Consistency > perfection.
3. Canva (Your Design Shortcut)
You don’t need to be a designer to look like one.
Canva makes it easy to create:
Social media posts
PDFs (like lead magnets or guides)
Website graphics
Branding elements
Why it matters as a mom: You can create a week’s worth of content in one sitting—without overthinking it.
Real talk: Done is better than perfect. Canva helps you move faster without sacrificing quality.
4. A Simple Content Planning System
Not a complicated calendar. Not a 50-tab spreadsheet. Just a system that works for you, and keeps you consistent.
What works:
Pick 2–3 content themes (ex: education, personal, promotion)
Rotate through them each week
Batch when you can
Why it matters as a mom: Decision fatigue is real. A simple plan removes the “what do I post?” stress.
5. Scheduling Tools (So You Can Log Off)
You do not need to be online all the time to grow.
Scheduling tools let you:
Batch content
Post automatically
Stay consistent without being glued to your phone
Why it matters as a mom: More presence in your real life, less pressure to “keep up.”
6. Google Analytics (Or Simple Website Tracking)
You don’t need to obsess over data, but you do need to know what’s working.
Look at:
Where your traffic is coming from
What pages people are visiting
Where they’re dropping off
Why it matters as a mom: You can focus your energy on what’s actually bringing results, instead of guessing.
7. A CRM or Contact System
Whether it’s built into your website platform or a separate tool, you need a way to manage leads and clients.
Why it matters as a mom: You don’t have time to dig through emails or lose track of potential clients.
A simple system = smoother bookings, less stress.
8. Automation (Your Secret Weapon)
This is where things really start working for you.
Think:
Automated email responses
Booking confirmations
Lead magnet delivery
Follow-up emails
Why it matters as a mom: You set it up once, and it keeps working in the background.
More time back in your day without sacrificing growth.

Final Thoughts: Keep It Simple, Keep It Yours
There’s a lot of noise in the marketing world.
People will tell you that you need more platforms, more content, or more complicated strategies
But you really don’t.
As a busy mom, your goal isn’t to do everything, it’s to build a system that supports your life.
Instead, start with:
A strong website
A simple email strategy
Consistent, manageable content
Then layer in tools that save you time, not create more work.
Because at the end of the day, the goal isn’t just a successful business, it’s a life you actually get to be present for!
