If you live in the Boston area, and find yourself with a hankering for a delicious treat after hours, man is your life about to change for the better!
Introducing the new Boston based company, DessertDrop, that will deliver over-sized, gourmet desserts right to your door!
Founded by Kurt Fischman, DessertDrop will deliver your order between the hours of 7pm-12am on Sat, and 7pm-10pm on Sun. “How do I place an order, and enjoy these delicious desserts,” you ask? Well, this is where DessertDrop’s awesome new website by Border7 Studios comes in to play.
The unique site features the enticing desserts on the homepage with easy to use, “Order Now” instructions, and a widget that counts down to the very second deliveries start.
Our talented designer, Nong, created a custom, responsive template for the site, which means that it is coded to be mobile friendly!
Rather than having to pinch the screen in order to zoom in on links, a user can navigate the site with ease as it “responds” to the smaller screen size of a mobile device.
Thanks to responsive design, DessertDrop’s site can be enjoyed across a wide range of mobile devices, and desktop computer monitors.
Using FoxyCart as the site’s eCommerce solution, our developers setup the custom, one-step checkout page for the site, as well as coded a widget that will look up a users’ zip code, and let them know if deliveries are available in that area. If your area is not yet covered, do not despair!
I, for one, am keeping my fingers crossed that DessertDrop will expand to Southern California, as I have had my eye on that Classic Vanilla Cupcake for quite some time!
