Border7 Website Launch

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

Our to-do list at the beginning of the year  was small, but that was because we knew the amount of time needed to complete each task. Our goals were published on the blog back at the beginning of the year and I’m excited to be able to do this.

  • Finally finish our website! Granted, working for clients is a lot better than getting our site done, but eventually our own site would be nice to have.
  • Redesign and FINALIZE the site plan. We keep coming up with new ideas which postpone its completion.
  • Come up with a few offerings beyond web & graphic design

It feels awesome to have all our goals completed. The first goal took the longest but it was the most fun. Right now, we have so many little quirks on the website that it feels very much like us. There is amazing artwork, we have informative content, and we also have a guitar hero playing Oog hidden within. There are so many little details to the website that we are just excited about. We still have a few more things that we’ll be doing in the next month to complete it, but the fact that we can take down the under construction splash page down.

What are your favorite parts?

Border7’s Goals for 2008 (not resolutions)

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

Resolutions are brushed off and rarely accomplished. Goals, on the other hand, are something you can monitor and track. A few goals that Border7 has for this year:

  • Finally finish our website! Granted, working for clients is a lot better than getting our site done, but eventually our own site would be nice to have.
  • Redesign and FINALIZE the site plan. We keep coming up with new ideas which postpone its completion.
  • Come up with a few offerings beyond web & graphic design

Notice that we only have a few goals for the year? That’s because they’re actually pretty big goals that may take a long time. Another thing about goals is that, you can have a lot, but in the end, you’ll just have a few things never done. Its best to keep the list short that way when one is completed, you really feel joyous. If, by some shear luck or a miracle happens, we manage to complete these three goals before the year’s end, we can come up with an end of the year goal plan. Wish us luck, and may all your goals be acheived!
